At Sea Kayak Connecticut we believe that engaging student-centered instruction produces successful outcomes. Our coastal kayak instructors are certified by the American Canoe Association (ACA), and our teaching fleet consists of composite sea kayaks, neoprene skirts, carbon-shaft paddles, and breathable life jackets.
ACA Coastal Leader Certification Workshop
This four-day training and certification course is offered in partnership with Sea Thru Kayaks VI in Christiansted, St. Croix. The workshop equips paddlers to lead half-day and single-day trips on large lakes and nearshore coastal waters.

ACA Level 2 Instructor Certification Workshop: Essentials of Sit-On-Top Kayak Touring
This four-day training and certification course is offered in partnership with Sea Thru Kayaks VI in Christiansted, St. Croix. The workshop prepares sit-on-top kayakers to teach and lead safe, effective paddlesports programs in sheltered waters.
